About Classes	English (USA)
This list is a private list openly publicized, maintained by Beth McMahon (or Mistress Elizabeth Talbot, OL, CM in the SCA). The focus of this list is to offer planning and discussion space for a regular series of classes in the Greater New York City area. These classes (and this list)focus on the following topics: Issues related to Clothing and Textile Research 1) We specifically apply this research to historical recreation as used in the Society for Creative Anachronism, with the uses and limits that implies 2) The period we focus our research on is that of the SCA, roughly 600-1650 C.E. 3) The focus of this list is research on careful historical recreation clothing. This is not the place for discussion of fantasy costuming, or later era clothing, even though many of us do that too. Anyone can sign themselves up for the list. I have chosen not to publish the sign-up site in print, but encourage members of the list to pass the information around freely to interested people they meet. I do reserve the right to invite people off the list if they can't play by the rules. We have work to do, afterall :) Welcome if you decide to sign on! Using Classes
To post a message to all the list members, send email to classes@tinho.net. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to Classes
Subscribe to Classes by filling out the following form. You will be sent email requesting confirmation, to prevent others from gratuitously subscribing you.
